May 2, 2026Traveling installer always looking for some good home style cooked food. This place hit the spot and nail on the head! I knew walking in when the sign on the front door said "This is not fast food" that my taste buds were in for a treat. My co worker and I ordered and did not take very long for the food to be cooked. As we were finishing our meal, the owner came out the kitchen and walked and talked to each table. He seemed to be know by the people that are here often. He sat at the table next to us and we started talking. Really great guy beside cooking up some great food. Then at the register I saw he is partnering with someone teach young men how to do things so they can be successful. I will support any place like this and so should you. For the great food and knowing someone is giving back to the community too.

April 24, 2026The best whole catfish Ive ever had in my LIFE!!!
Service is amazing, and the staff are super friendly. They treated me like family.
It doesnt look like much, but its one of those hidden gems.
If you go for dinner, get there early. They do so much business they start running out of the popular sides like greens and cabbage if you are eating a little later. Still worth it though.
Going back tomorrow to try the fried chicken!
Quality and variety
